November reads

THE GIRL WHO DISAPPEARED TWICE..Andrea Kane

A mystery picked from the shelf at the library.  Not bad.  It's the start of a new series by this author and I will watch for the next one.  Will keep her name in mind and check for previous books when I need to fill a lull. link
 ............................
THE IMPOSSIBLE DEAD..Ian Rankin.  Second in his Inspector Fox series.  As readable as his Rebus series.

.............................

THE NIGHT CIRCUS..Erin Morgenstern.     Wow.  Loved it.  Different, engaging, satisfying.  A tale well told.

.........................

THE BURNING..Jane Casey.    New author, first novel.  Engaging enough mystery, well enough written so will watch for the next.  link

...............................

I AM HALF SICK OF SHADOWS..Alan Bradley.  Flavia de Luce continues to entertain.  Light and easy reading.   Still waiting for the mystery of her mother to be revealed.  link

........................

THE BIRD HOUSE..Kelly Simmons.   Found on the shelf at the library and quite a good story.  link

.........................

THE CAT'S TABLE..Michael Ondaatje.   Small book full of wonderful language, characters and story.    link

..........................

FAITHFUL PLACE...Tana French.    Pick from the library shelf that hooked me from page one and has me going back for more.  link
