I did like the cast of characters in this book and the conversations between Reacher and the main players. I've been reading Child's novels since the beginning and have found no reason to stop.

As with most short story collections I enjoyed some more than others.









45 - THE COLLECTED STORIES OF ROGER ZELAZNY: POWER AND LIGHT

I was surprised at how well the stories from the 60's read . I found myself skimming the fantasy stories but read most of the science fiction. Well put together collection covering his career in several volumes, I will watch out for others.

5 - ASKING FOR THE MOON: REGINALD HALL

The four short stories here include an account of the trying circumstances under which Pascoe and Dalziel first met. There's also a tale from the last days of their complex relationship, when Dalziel is called out of retirement to help solve the first murder on the moon.

The moon story was written in 1990 and set in 2010. There were 2 forwards for this tale in my edition, the original and one from 2003. Read them.
