49 - HEAT WAVE: RICHARD CASTLE

R. Castle is a character on a TV show who writes novels. On the show he wrote this novel after following a female police office around on her cases.
The whole time I was reading the book I was hearing the dialogue in the voices from the show. Not a bad thing as I enjoy the programme but I probably won't bother with the next book unless I run out of reading material. Light and predictable .. not what I want as I turn pages but I give the write/writers credit for creating the novels perhaps even giving TV watchers a reason to open a book.
